Michiel Dieperink naar Talpa Global

Michiel Dieperink treedt in dienst bij Talpa Global als Director Commercial Partnerships. In zijn nieuwe rol gaat hij zich op internationale schaal bezighouden met het exploiteren van de IPcatalogus van Talpa bij adverteerders en  Mediabureaus.

Daarnaast maken ook partijen die geïnteresseerd zijn in brand licensing en de internationale uitrol van succesvolle Nederlandse branded formats onderdeel uit van zijn verantwoordelijk-heden.

Dieperink zal zich onder andere focussen op het verder vermarkten van ‘The Voice’, de nummer 1 talenten show wereldwijd, te zien in meer dan 180 landen. Dieperink was de afgelopen 10 jaar werkzaam als Managing Director Branded Entertainment bij het label Fuse van de OmnicomMediaGroup.

Vanuit zijn rol bij Fuse is Dieperink vanaf dag één betrokken geweest bij het opzetten en uitrollen van sponsoring deals rondom The Voice. In het verleden heeft Dieperink gewerkt bij Endemol International, waar hij onder andere heeft bijgedragen aan de wereldwijde commerciële uitrol van blockbuster Big Brother.

Met de uitbreiding van de commerciële afdeling geeft Talpa Global invulling aan haar ambitie om meer nieuwe, innovatieve proposities de markt op te brengen. Vanuit deze afdeling wordt bekeken hoe formats door middel van verschillende touch points geactiveerd kunnen worden, met een focus op innovatieve commerciële deals op het gebied van videocommerce,
social media en spinoff content.

Dieperink maakt onderdeel uit van Talpa Global’s new business team onder leiding van Kim Dingler, MD NewMedia.

Michiel Dieperink joins Talpa Global as Director Commercial Partnerships.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the international exploitation of Talpa’s IP catalogue towards advertisers and media agencies. In addition, parties interested in brand licensing and the international rollout of successful branded formats are also part of his responsibilities. Dieperink will focus, among other things, on the further commercialization of ‘The Voice’, the number one talent show in the world, aired in more than 180 countries.

For the past 10 years, Dieperink worked as Managing Director Branded Entertainment at the Fuse label of the OmnicomMediaGroup. During his time at Fuse, Dieperink has been involved from day one in setting up and implementing sponsoring deals around The Voice. In the past, Dieperink has worked at Endemol International, where he has contributed to the worldwide commercial rollout of blockbuster Big Brother.

With the expansion of the commercial department, Talpa Global fulfills its ambition to bring more new, innovative propositions to the market. This department examines how formats can be activated through various touch points, with a focus on innovative commercial deals in the field of video commerce, social media and spinoff content.
Dieperink is part of Talpa Global’s new business team led by Kim Dingler, MD New Media.

Since july 2007 Michiel Dieperink is Managing Director of FUSE, consultancy agency for Branded Content and Sponsorships, owned by media giant OmnicomMediaGroup ( NYSE:OMC ).January 2004 Michiel joined Fremantlemedia Enterprises Worldwide in London (RTL Group/Berte

lsmann AG) to establish a new business unit in Advertiser Relations & Global Client Development.

April 1998 Michiel joined the board of Endemol Entertainment International BV as Executive Director Ad Funded Programming (AFP). Michiel managed an international network of business units within the Endemol Entertainment Group of Companies (37 Operating Companies in 22 territories) set up to meet the needs of (Inter)National Advertising Industry to use TV content to extend their brands, images and to sell products and services.
Michiel  established and maintained contacts with the top 150 multinationals in order to develop strategic alliances for packaging their messages by using all Endemol platforms (TV/Internet/Mobile/Brand Licensing). Dieperink worked closely with-and reported directly to the CEO, mr. John de Mol.

Prior to joining Endemol Entertainment, Dieperink was the founder(1990) of Dieperink Non Spot Advertising (DNA). In 8 years time DNA became marketleader in TV sponsorship.

Before this period Dieperink was Commercial Advisor and CSD Sports Marketing Agency Trefpunt in the founding of the first private broadcaster RTL-Véronique (nowadays RTL4) followed by becoming Commercial Director of IP Netherlands,the marketing and sales organisation for RTL, founded in july 1989.
Michiel started his career in 1982 as a Sales Manager Outdoor Advertising at NV ALRECON, follow by becoming Sales Director Sponsorships / Merchandising at Bridge KLP in 1986.

Dieperink has a Bachelors degree in law from the University of Amsterdam and became Master of Business Administration at the University of Delft(Doctorandus Bedrijfskunde). Michiel was also Associate Partner Broadcasting for Bonnike Executive search, marketleader in Senior level Executive Search in Media and Communications Business.
